Surfing's better when we're together!
Enter Surf Friends, a small group class for students ages 6-16 who want to learn and progress their surfing alongside peers and with the guidance of an ISA surf instructor.

This is for those who are serious and stoked on surf! While Afterschool Program offers a broader and holistic approach to ocean awareness, safety + education, Surf Friends is a concentrated, shorter class specifically focused on improving surfing.
​
Class sizes are kept small (3:1 student coach ratio) for students' utmost safety, individualized instruction and maximum progress.
Spring 2026 Dates:

April (3 weeks): 4/10-12, 4/17-19, 4/24-26
May (4 weeks): 5/1-3, 5/8-10, 5/22-24, 5/29-31
Meeting Days/Times:
Friday Afternoons:
between 3:30-5:30pm
Saturday Mornings:
between 9:00-11:30am
Sunday Mornings:
between 9:00-11:30am

Class will always take place within the given timeframe. Exact start time of class may vary based on ocean conditions. Class is 1 hour 15 minutes long.

We work with the ocean for the best possible experience and waves for our learners. We opt for students' safety and the most favorable learning conditions based on wave size, tide, wind direction, and more. The exact start time of class (within the given timeframe) and meeting location may vary. Exact details for each class are provided to the enrolled students 1 week ahead of class.

To ensure individualized support, presence and guidance for maximum learning, breakthroughs and success, class sizes are kept to a 3:1 student to coach ratio. ​

What sets our instructors apart is they are avid surfers themselves and hold active accreditation by International Surf Association (ISA), the highest and universally recognized standard for instructor training. ​Cancellation/Refund Policy:
- Security deposits are non-refundable.​
- Cancellation must be made 24 hours before the start of the session to receive a refund. Once the session begins, no refund will be given.
- During the session, if you cannot attend a class due to illness, travel etc. no refund or makeup of the class can be made.
- If Ocean School needs to cancel class for any reason, we will make every attempt to make up the class at another date. If this is not possible, the class will be refunded.​
